Railways earns Rs. 20.74 cr from ticketless travellers in MumbaiThe Central Railway (CR) earned Rs20.74 crore by fining ticketless travellers in the month May. The zonal railway claimed that the earning is 83.55% higher as compared to same month last year. According to the Central Railway, a total of 3.66 lakh cases of ticketless or irregular travel and unbooked luggage were detected last month, and an amount of Rs20.74 crore was realised through the fine.
